Resonance Massage Therapy
Jackie Baker, LMT
No body is designed the same way, nor will any massage be in which you receive in my cozy space. No day is the same and sometimes your treatment may be geared towards one concern and the next visit another. Jackie learned the art of holistic-minded bodywork from The Wellspring School for Healing Arts in Oregon and is humbled to offer a variety of bodywork styles to the Lincoln area and to give back to the community in which she was raised.
Jackie’s style is a dynamic blend of deeper therapeutic work and gentle relaxation techniques. She often utilizes a combination of Eastern and Western massage styles to create a unique and well-rounded massage experience.
My Commitment to Safety And Sanitization
I believe in trusting the experts in the Scientific and Medical communities. I follow policies guided by the CDC and Nebraska DHHS to keep each other safe and healthy.
Masks are optional at this time. I use hospital-grade disinfectants in the massage space and lobby area. In addition, I am fully vaccinated.

Benefits of Massage Therapy
Massage has been used for thousands of years to promote optimal wellness of body, mind, emotion, and of the spirit. Massage aims to improve our sense of well-being, promote postural alignment, reduce pain and tension, prevent injury, improve circulation, and many more benefits.

What is Cupping Therapy?
Cupping is much like the inverse of massage – rather than applying pressure to muscles, it uses gentle pressure to pull them upward thereby encouraging blood flow and opening lymphatic pathways for increased circulation. This can relieve pain and inflammation in joints and muscles and stimulate the immune system.

What is Amma Therapy
A classical Asian bodywork style that predates acupuncture, “Amma” is the oldest Chinese word to describe massage. Amma is a specialized form of massage therapy that combines deep and gentle pressure and acupressure point stimulation with Chinese medical principles for accessing and treating imbalances in the energy system. Amma Therapy, like acupuncture, focuses on the balance and movement of Qi (energy) within the body. Whereas the acupuncturist inserts needles into the energy pathways to stimulate and move the energy, the Amma practitioner relies primarily on the sensitivity and strength of the hands to manipulate the client’s life Qi.
Amma can be helpful in addressing a wide range of both acute and chronic conditions including body pain, headache, digestive disturbance, sinus issues, insomnia, and more. Amma is a great way to enhance wellness by addressing both existing imbalances and treating preventatively.
